Welcome to First Splash Swim School

I’m Pip and I set up First Splash in 2009 with the aim to provide the best possible private swimming lessons for children in Bath, Bristol and Wells. I have over 10 years swim teaching experience working for a mixture of health clubs, councils, holiday parks and abroad. Since first qualifying in 2000 I have gone on to gain further levels of swim teaching including Baby and Pre School, Adults, Disability and Rehab, and Aqua Aerobics. I am also a Lifeguard Trainer and Assessor.

Children learn through play and enjoyment so at First Splash all our lessons are taught in small, fun, friendly classes to ensure all children get the most out of their lessons. You will find the teachers in the water, this helps to relax the children and gives them the courage and confidence to try different things while enjoying their time learning to swim. All children are taught basic water safety and confidence skills from their first lesson to ensure all classes are ran in a fun safe environment.

All lessons are individually tailored to suit your child$rsquo;s needs and expectations. We teach progression from water confidence through to the 4 swimming strokes. There are other water skills taught along the way including diving and personal survival.

First Splash is an ASA registered swim school and follows the National Plan of Teaching Swimming. I am also a Lifeguard Trainer Assessor and Swimming Teacher Tutor and run regular courses.

We are always looking for new venues to offer our swimming lessons; no pool is too big or too small. If you are the owner of a pool that you think would be suitable for First Splash to hire then please contact us.
